Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful This Is Where I Leave You as well as in the television series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who is also a TV producer. Her roles in both the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi drama Timeless made her a star. The native of Gulf Breeze Her first role was as a soap star in the show All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. Her main role was role as guest actors throughout the span of some time. She earned appreciation for her role of Dr. Erin Jameson in the television series Hawthorne. Her beautiful appearance and impressive acting skills made her an ideal candidate for the trust of her fans. At the age twenty she made her acting debut in the film Campfire Stones. She has also appeared as a character in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and various other movies. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the film Beautiful Now'. In the show Timeless, she played the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was nominated as an Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's performance on Timeless. Timeless has earned praise from critics.
